Nine Lives

14" Mid to late season bloomer.

Standards (upper petals) are white with green-gold veins up rib, top edged pale tan; style arms pale creamy yellow with crests veined slightly darker. The falls (lower petals) are dark red-black, slightly paler at edge, precise white band, short white rays along and at end of beard, light olive gold between rays on haft heart; beards gold in throat, paler gold in middle, violet white at end. This iris is ruffled with a pronounced spicy fragrance.
