Mama Quel

 TB 37” L-VL Named in honor of one of our greatest supporters over the years, Raquel Maldonado.  Mother, Grandmother and avid gardener, she had a deep love for iris and grew many of our varieties.  Over the years “Mama Quel” successfully entered and won many blue ribbons and awards at fairs and shows.  Mama Quel the iris is extremely vigorous and blooms like crazy!  White self with a pale pink flush up midribs with orange beards adding a flash of color.  Always out-does itself in terms of bloom and growth with great branching and 9 to 11 buds on tall but very sturdy stalks.
